Fran Evans

Fran Evans is an illustrator whose work reflects on her surroundings; the colours, climate and creatures she encounters daily. She can be inspired by anything; reading a dictionary, chatting to a neighbour, clearing up toys… but natural history and cultural quirks often appear in her work from places she’s lived and travelled to.

Based in Pembrokeshire, she works for Two Bad Mice Publishers, a greetings card company who distribute her images around the world.

Fran has worked with us on a number of projects including: a project with pupils from Spittal community School to prepare designs for their school mosaic, a series of workshops with pupils from a secondary school in Llanelli to design greetings cards as part of the Big Picture Llanelly House and has also developed Drawn from the past an Ideas Lab project as part of our work with the Lab Haverfordwest.

Fran has gone on to train as a Creative Lead Practioner prior to working on a series of Creative Lead School projects.
